Google Search Console users can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the long-standing delays in the Performance report have been resolved. After several weeks of frustrating data lags, the report now appears to be updating on time with a delay of just two to six hours—down from a shocking 70+ hours.

For the past few weeks, users of Google Search Console experienced significant delays, with some reports lagging over 50 hours. However, the Performance report is now back to normal, showing much shorter delays, typically ranging from two to six hours.

The Bigger Picture: Page Indexing Delays Persist

While the Performance report has been restored, another report remains delayed—the Page Indexing report. This issue is still unresolved, with the report now almost a month behind. Despite Google’s announcement that internal issues are causing the delay, there’s been no fix yet. The notice at the top of the Page Indexing report reads: “Due to internal issues, this report has not been updated to reflect recent data.”
